Some things I tried, just plain failed. I attempted to use vinyl flashing as a backdrop. I had seen this and aluminum recommended before and it looked like an easy way to get a largely seamless backdrop. Maybe others can do this better than I, but I simply couldn't get rid of the wavy appearance that drove me bonkers. I would suggest that the best use of vinyl flashing would be for a backdrop that was not visible down its length.
