Getting our truck soaked with freshly applied calcium chloride the day before made it a drippy mess, but we charged on along the RGS right of way along the San Miguel River, past Bilk, on to Vance Junction and Illium. Then we drove and hiked the line in the Ames area and Ophir Loop, and visited Lizard Head Pass, Rico, and Telluride.
