I decided to use the very bright 5630 LED strip lights for layout lighting. The 5630 LEDs would be significantly brighter than the 5050 strips more commonly used so a single row would be enough. However, before getting too far along, I thought it would be wise to do a mock-up to see what things would look like and to make adjustments to my design before there was a railroad to work around. There is plenty of light, but there was a problem or two.
