I built and installed this Model Masterpieces Durango turntable quite a few years ago. I didn't care for the pit walls that came with the kit, so a scratch built my own. The cinders in the bottom of the pit are ground up real cinders from Rico on the narrow gauge Rio Grande Southern. I never managed to wire the turntable to track power and I figured now was the time. Back in the 1970s I picked up some used mimeograph stencil cutting styluses that I thought would be useful some day. I finally used those as wipers and got power to the tracks. Polarity is managed by two posts on a Hex Frog Juicer. Now I need to finish the rest of the turntable and the whole layout, for that matter.
