Call me crazy, but an existing part of my former railroad had this 4% grade section that I designed to require a helper. After switching from brass DC locomotives to Blackstone DCC locomotives, I wanted to be sure that two K-27s could pull a 12 car train plus caboose up the grade. It was all speculations until I could actually test it. It passed the test!
